I bought a typewriter the other day at a second hand store. $3.99. Got it home, plugged it in, and the whir of the motor brought back memories of using my grandmother's electric typewriter during homework assignments all throughout junior high and high school.
I introduced my kids to this typewriter, and sat down to type. Five pages I typed until the ribbon that it came with ran out. I started typing of our courtship, experiences we've had and wow the thoughts just flew out of my fingers. Maybe I'm a blogger. I tried it once back in '09. Can't even figure out how to get back into that ole' thing. So, here I go again...trying this anew.
I have a new ribbon ordered, but think I'll be using the ole' computer to type from now on, as it's so much easier to edit and post.
